Our Story
Small bear begun its trading under the name Rod-job. As that was more of a personal venture we have made the decision to change the name to Small Bear Construction. Due to the fact there are so many people involved on a job it’s only fitting. Bears are community driven animals that take care of their cubs from start to finish. So we plan to do the same with every job we start. We pride ourselves on seeing a job through and putting our all into it no matter what.
Small bear construction differs in many ways. Starting with how we became to be. We are a team from all areas of construction that are not only colleagues but friends. We are not just a few tradesmen that have been bundled together making it work. We are people that have worked together on multiple occasions which produces harmony and a clear idea of how each other work. Not a lot of other construction companies have this element. This means that we are able to achieve outstanding work in swift time making the journey as smooth as possible for the customer. All in all making it an enjoyable journey until your projects end.
Our tradesmen are incredible at what they do. Every single one of us are approachable and passionate about our crafts. We have been fortunate to have worked closely with one another on various projects and have worked with some incredible architects, structural engineers and landscape designers in the process. We are in constant communication with those surrounding a project as to achieve the best overall results. We are able to deliver your dream project, not only on time but to the highest of standards. There will be times when the reality of a project might not seem like a possibility. Whether it be structurally or due to permission not being granted so please be mindful of this when booking with any tradesmen. However, if it’s possible we can always find a way to do it. Unfortunately, although we love what we do everything comes at a price. Prices will vary depending on size and time at a property/property to be. It will also depend how many people will be needed on a job. At Small bear we know someone for everything. The best of the best. We can always recommend people for the trades you want if you decide to go with us. Whether you want to start from the ground up or you would like to have a few adjustments made to an existing property, just know we can bear it all!
